WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The highly-anticipated, season-opening NCAA Division III football game between nationally-ranked teams Washington & Jefferson and Wittenberg will be able to be watched on broadcast television as well as ESPN3 online.
The SPORTSfever Television Network will provide coverage of the 2019 kickoff between the 18
th-ranked Tigers and the 21
st-ranked Presidents.
The game will be broadcasted live locally in Pittsburgh on WPNT 22 The Point (see full channel listings below). WPNT reaches 1.1 million households in the Pittsburgh market.
The game will also be carried live on the ESPN 3 platform, accessible online at WatchESPN.com. The ESPN3 platform reaches 86 million households through smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app. ESPN3 can also be streamed on televisions through Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. In Ohio, WRGT in Dayton (45.2 My Network) will broadcast the game live, while SPORTS TIME OHIO will show tape delayed broadcast on Sunday, Sept. 8 (10:00 am) and Monday, Sept. 9 (Noon).
Wittenberg and Washington & Jefferson rank second and third, respectively, in NCAA Division III football history for victories. The Tigers enter 2019 with 773 victories, while W&J has 744 wins in 127 seasons of varsity football.
