Box Score MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson women's tennis fell to Allegheny 8-1 in non-conference action on Tuesday evening.
The Presidents' lone victory on the evening came at No. 1 singles where
Maya Krishnasamy (Ventura, Calif./Ventura) topped Allegheny's top singles player Katherine Marks 6-4, 6-4.
Krishnasamy teamed with
Isabella Goldman (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper Saint Clair) at No. 1 doubles and nearly came away with a victory there, falling in a tiebreaker 8-7 (7-3).
Goldman also battled at No. 2 doubles, falling 6-3, 6-4.
The Presidents begin PAC this Thursday with a matchup with Bethany at the Janet Swanson Tennis Center at 6:00 p.m.
