HIRAM, Ohio -- The Washington & Jefferson volleyball team wrapped up the 2022 season with a 3-0 loss at Hiram College Saturday afternoon in a non-conference match.
Despite the loss, W&J finishes the 2022 campaign with an 11-12 overall record. The match concludes the first season under head coach
Lindsey Llewellyn, who guided the Presidents to eight more wins than they had last fall.
The host Terriers won the match with set scores of 25-12, 25-15 and 25-21.
Freshman outside hitter
Faith Fetsko (South Park, Pa./South Park) paced the Presidents with a team-best nine kills. Fetsko also finished with a team-high 17 digs.
Senior outside hitter
Claire Sauerland (Hollidaysburg, Pa./Hollidaysburg) registered eight kills and a .318 hitting percentage in her last match with the Red and Black.
Sophomore setter
Adrianna Sacramento (Pittsburgh, Pa./Woodland Hills) accumulated 26 assists in the loss.
Freshman middle hitter
Abby Tester (Munhall, Pa./Steel Valley) led the Presidents with a team-best three total blocks.
