MEADVILLE, Pa. - The Washington & Jefferson College women's volleyball team was swept by Allegheny College in PAC play Wednesday evening in Crawford County.

The loss drops W&J to 6-3 in conference play and 13-12 overall. Allegheny improves to 7-2 in the PAC and 20-8 overall. 

Allegheny took the match by set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-11. 

Faith Fetsko (South Park, Pa. / South Park) paced the Presidents with seven kills on the evening. Adrianna Sacramento (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Woodland Hills) finished with the team-high 11 assists while Brielle Moorhouse (East Liberty, Ohio/Benjamin Logan) finished with 10 assists. 

Piper McFarland (West Mifflin, Pa. / Cornerstone Preparatory Academy) tallied a team-high 21 digs on the defensive end of things.

Jaden Blough (Meyersdale, Pa. / Meyersdale) recorded the team high in blocks with four.

The Red & Black return to action on Saturday, Nov. 4, when they host Chatham University. The regular season finale is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start in the Salvitti Family Gymnasium.
