Misenheimer, N.C. -- The Washington & Jefferson College women's lacrosse team rolled to a 19-7 victory over the host Pfeiffer Falcons in non-conference action Monday afternoon in North Carolina.

Eight Presidents scored in the dominant victory over the Falcons. Amanda Effland (Frederick, Md./Frederick) registered eight points (6 goals, 2 assists) to pace the offense in the victory. Emily Heck (Reading, Pa./Berks Catholic) put together a strong game as she scored a career-high five goals.

Heck scored the first two goals of the game to help the Presidents jump out to a 3-1 lead after the first quarter.

Brynne Stewart (Painesville, Ohio / Andrews Osborne Academy) opened the quarter with an unassisted goal. Effland accounted for three goals alone in the second quarter.

Caleigh Bogats (Oakdale, Pa./Chartiers Valley) and Heck tallied two goals apiece in the third quarter as W&J inflicted the running clock as the lead stretched into double digits.

Sarah Labovitz (Great Falls, Va./The Bullis School) became the ninth President to reach 100 career goals. Labovitz reached the milestone with an unassisted goal at the 8:14 mark of the third quarter. The Presidents led by a 16-4 margin entering the fourth.

Haley Lawyer (Glenside, Pa. / Archbishop Wood) and Lina Crowley (Potomac, Md. / The Bullis School) both found the back of the net in the fourth. Effland finished out the scoring with a last second goal to bring the final margin to 19-7.
