PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson College Cross Country teams competed at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational. The men placed 14
th of 15 while the women only raced
Chloe LoCastro (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township).

Ramaniah Karamcheti (Washington, Pa./Washington) led the Presidents runners with a 94
th-place finish with a mark of 30:14.60.
Fares Bouassida (Oakdale, Pa./South Fayette) followed next up for the Presidents with a 122
nd-place finish with a mark of 33:32.20.
Anand Karamcheti (Washington, Pa./Washington),
August Ralston (Washington, Pa./Washington) and
Nico Flitcraft (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) all finished in a pack. Karamcheti placed 124
th with a time of 34:48.00, Ralston finished 125
th with a mark of 34:54.10 and Flitcraft placed 126
th with a time of 35:03.20.

The women's cross country team had
Chloe LoCastro compete in the Carnegie Mellon Invitational. The sole women's runner for the team placed 86
th of 125 total runners, pacing her way to a time of 22:48.00 against Division II and Division III competition.

W&J now travels to New York to enter the Geneseo Invitational on Saturday (Oct. 19). The race is scheduled to start at 12:00 p.m.
