The Presidents' win was spearheaded by the suffocating defensive front led by

Offensively, W&J's senior quarterback
Jacob Pugh (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) led the way with 263 passing yards and five total touchdowns on only 11 completions (11-for-13).
Jacob Macosko (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) saw most of the work with seven grabs for 172 yards and two touchdowns. This marks the second-straight week Macosko has posted a 160+ yard, two touchdown performance.

Owen Petrisek (Ellsworth, Pa./Bentworth) led the ground game with 89 yards rushing and one touchdown.
The Presidents started the scoring early and often in their eighth bout of the season, logged their first touchdown of the day on their second play from scrimmage. Pugh connected with Peduzzi on a 66-yard catch and run for six. Minutes later, Pugh connected with
Anthony Rosati (Chardon, Ohio/Perry) for a 10-yard receiving touchdown. With 31 seconds remaining in the first quarter, W&J logged another short drive due to good field position courtesy of the Presidents' defense. Pugh found Macosko for a 44-yard receiving touchdown to close out the first quarter, 21-0.
With six minutes remaining in the second quarter, W&J continued to add to the scoring column with a one-yard rushing touchdown from Pugh on the read-option. Before the close of the first half, Pugh continued to put on a clinic, finding Macosko for another Presidents touchdown, taking a 34-0 lead into the half.
Coming out of the half, the Presidents' defense picked off the Bison quarterback, as Volomino gave the W&J offense good starting position on their first drive of the second half. The offense quickly gashed the Bison defensive front down the field for a methodical touchdown drive. Petrisek capped off the drive with a six-yard rushing score.
W&J scored their final touchdown of the day in the fourth quarter from a one-yard rushing touchdown by
Andrew Sharp (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) to close out the bout, 48-7.
