TRAFFORD, Pa. – Washington & Jefferson College runners Claire Anderson (Jamestown, Pa./Jamestown) and Dominic Flitcraft (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) have each been named the Presidents' Athletic Conference Cross Country Runner of the Week, announced by the conference on Tuesday (Oct. 7).
 
Anderson led the women in the Blue 6k race at the Greater Louisville Classic with a sixth-place finish and time of 21:25.6.  Anderson was only bested by one Division III runner from Trine, along with four runners from Division I Middle Tennessee State and Kennesaw State.  Her time helped the team finish 10th out of 46 teams and sixth among DIII programs.
 
Flitcraft led the Presidents in the men's Blue 8k at the Greater Louisville Classic with an 11th place finish and fourth among Division III competitors.  He finished with a time of 25:22.0, racing against Division I and II runners.
 
The Presidents return to action at the Oberlin Invitational on Saturday (Oct. 18). Races will begin at 11:00 a.m.
