TRAFFORD, Pa. – Washington & Jefferson College runners swept the two PAC Men's Cross-Country weekly honors, as announced by the conference on Tuesday (Sept. 30).
Junior
Dominic Flitcraft (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) was selected as the PAC Men's Runner of the Week. This is the second week that Flitcraft has been chosen for this award. Flitcraft led the men's 8k for the Presidents, placing sixth with a time of 26:13.9 at the Dickinson Long-Short Invitational. Flitcraft finished 12.9 seconds off the top finisher in the invite.
Freshman
Wyatt Stroup (Port Royal, Pa./Juniata) was also selected as the PAC Men's Newcomer of the Week. Stroup concluded the Dickinson Long-Short Invitational in 10th place with a time of 26:49.2. Stroup was the highest freshman finisher at the Dickinson-hosted invite.
Both teams return to the course on Saturday (Oct. 4) as they travel to Louisville, Ky. For the Greater Louisville Classic.
