Alex Boyce (McDonald, Pa./South Fayette) has been chosen as the Presidents' Athletic Conference Football Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday (Sept. 14).

Boyce was a dominant force against Keystone defensively in a 42-0 Presidents' win that was stopped due to weather after halftime. In just two quarters, the interior defensive lineman had 2.5 sacks, 4.0 tackles for loss, two quarterback hurries and five total tackles, as W&J limited Keystone to one first down, -21 rushing yards and 39 total yards in the victory.

The Presidents enjoy a week break before returning to the gridiron on Saturday (Sept. 26) where they will face the Case Western Reserve Spartans in their Presidents' Athletic Conference opener. Kickoff is set for a 7:00 p.m. start.
