The Presidents confirmed the set one victory with back-to-back points, 25-12.

W&J carried their momentum into the second set early on, leading 4-2 before the Celtics gained control, 9-5. Kills from Watson and Kaelyn Hatzel (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk) added kills to break up the Carlow advantage, behind 17-12. A four-point swing started by an Eva McKnight (East Liverpool, Ohio/Beaver) kill helped the Presidents chip away at the Carlow lead, 18-17. Kills by Adams and Gale brought the lead to a 24-24 tie before the Presidents closed out the first set with help from two consecutive Carlow attack errors.

W&J settled in come the third set after Fetchik had a kill to give Ayla Altman (Washington, Pa./Bishop Canevin) the serve at 4-4. Altman had two service aces in a nine-point swing in favor of the Presidents to grow a 13-4 lead. A Celtics service error sparked a five-point run that grew the W&J lead to 19-8.
