Tony Pascarella joined the Washington & Jefferson coaching staff as a volunteer assistant before the 2016 season. W&J has won six PAC titles and advanced to two Division III College World Series during Pascarella's time on staff.Â
Prior to arriving at W&J, he was the assistant principal at Elizabeth Forward High School and served in a similar capacity at McGuffey High School prior to that. He has previously served as a member of the WPIAL Baseball Committee.
He also has experience coaching at various age levels from Pony League through High School, where he was the head coach at Ringgold High School from 1980-88.
Pascarella is no stranger to the W&J baseball program as his son, Neil, was a four-year President from 2007-10 and is tied for the single-season record for home runs with 12 in 2010.
The elder Pascarella holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from Slippery Rock and a Masters in Administration from Cal U.
