Manya Steinfeld

Manya Steinfield returns to the Washington & Jefferson field hockey coaching staff for a third season after joining prior to the 2014 season.

She arrived at W&J following a year as the assistant field hockey coach at Keystone College. At Keystone, she was responsible for the planning and execution of practice plans, game management and field and equipment upkeep. Steinfeld also served as a staff mentor to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at Keystone and created offseason fitness schedules for the field hockey program.

A four-year starter and two-year captain at Bryn Mawr (Pa.) College, she also served as a member of SAAC during her time as an undergrad and graduated in May of 2012 with a degree in Psychology with a minor in Education.

She continued her playing career with the Copenhagen Field Hockey Club in Copenhagen, Denmark from 2012-13, while working at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad as a program assistant in the Psychology and Child Development departments. While in Denmark, Steinfeld played for the Copenhagen Field Hockey club, winning bronze medals in both indoor and outdoor field hockey.
