Dillow joined the football coaching staff as an assistant for the 2019 season.
Dillow came over after a highly successful four-year stint as head coach at nearby California Area High School. During his tenure with the Trojans, Dillow led the team to three appearances in the WPIAL Playoffs. Under Dillow’s tutelage, the Trojans secured conference championships in both 2017 and 2018.
After gaining the top seed, the Trojans defeated Bishop Canevin and Union to advance to the WPIAL Class A Semifinals in 2017. California finished the 2017 season with a 12-1 overall record.
He was nominated for Observer Reporter Coach of the Year honors while also being named Tri-County South Coach of the Year in 2017 and 2018.
During his time as head coach he oversaw all football operations including budgeting, player development and academic monitoring. Dillow also designed and organized the first track and field team at California High School and California Middle School.
Dillow earned degrees from West Virginia University, California University of Pennsylvania and the University of Pittsburgh.
