Matt Arshinkoff joined the W&J football coaching staff for the 2019 season.
Arshinkoff comes to W&J from PAC rival Thiel College, where he spent the past four seasons with the Tomcats, which included serving as the Defensive Coordinator during the 2017 and 2018 seasons.
Before his time at Thiel, Arshinkoff served as special team’s coordinator and defensive line coach at North Park University in 2013-14.
Prior to his time with the North Park University Vikings, Arshinkoff served as a graduate assistant at the University of Akron for four seasons. In 2011-12, he worked with the Zips’ defense and special teams. He was involved with player relations in 2010 and recruiting and player relations in 2009. Arshinkoff also served as a volunteer assistant with the Zips in 2008.
Arshinkoff earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration sales/marketing from the University of Akron in 2005. He received master’s degrees from the University of Akron in special education in 2009 and sports science and coaching in 2010.
