Sam Bubonics joined the W&J football staff as its Intern Assistant Coach in January of 2024. He will work with the tight ends.
Bubonics was a four-year member of the Dayton Flyers football program. He caught 57 passes for 780 yards and five touchdowns over 24 games for the Flyers. Bubonicss also returned 19 kicks and 19 punts during his time with the program. He earned All-Pioneer Football League honorable mention recognition in 2021 and 2022. Bubonics led the Flyers in receiving yards (477) and receptions (34) as a redshirt freshman in 2021.Â
A native of Solon, Ohio, Bubonics earned his degree in Electronic Media in the fall of 2023 from Dayton.Â
