Zac Yates enters his second season with the W&J football program as an intern assistant coach in the fall of 2019.

Before coming to Washington & Jefferson, Yates spent the 2017 season as a student assistant coach for the Bethany College football program. He was introduced to all facets of coaching while working with the Bison. His main focus was with the offensive line, however, as he was a three-year starter all over the line for Bethany.

Yates earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Communication from Bethany in 2018.
