Jordan Simpson

Jordan Simpson joined the Washington & Jefferson track and field staff for the Spring of 2022. Simpson works with the throwers at W&J. 

During the 2023-24 season, W&J had a pair of strong finishers in the throwing events at the PAC Championships. Matt Kordich earned a PAC title in the Weight Throw with a mark of 14.32 meters. Katie Kovalchick finished second in the Javelin during the outdoor season with a mark of 39.68 meters.

Simpson competed collegiate at PAC member Waynesburg University, where she was a four-year member on Yellow Jackets women's track and field team. 

Throughout her years at Waynesburg, Simpson was a five-time PAC team champion (Indoor 2017, Outdoor 2017, Indoor 2018, Outdoor 2018, Outdoor 2019).

Individually, she was the 2019 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) javelin champion, a two-time PAC runner-up in shot put (Outdoor 2018 & Indoor 2019) and served as a team captain for two seasons. Simpson finished as a four-time All-PAC honoree.

Simpson graduated from Waynesburg University in the spring of 2020 with her bachelor's degree in English with Secondary Education.
