Cassie Wyckoff (Indiana '12; First Year) was named the head coach of the W&J men's and women's water polo programs on July 14, 2016.

Wyckoff arrives in Washington after serving a season on the women's coaching staff at Stanford, helping the Cardinal reach the NCAA Championship game, an 8-7 loss to Southern California.

During the 2011 season, Wyckoff set a then-school record with 348 saves, which she topped the following year when she blocked 356 shots during her senior campaign. As a senior, she helped lead Indiana to its second Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) title and second NCAA Championship appearance.

Twice during her time at IU she was named to the All-Eastern Championship First Team (2010, 2011), including tournament Most Valuable Player in 2011. She also garnered a spot on the CWPA All-Division Teams in 2010 and 2012.

Wyckoff is no stranger to international competition, having traveled with Stanford to the 2015 World University Games in Gwanhju, South Korea and earning a silver medal with Team USA at the 2011 World University Games in Shenzhen, China.

After college, Wyckoff moved onto the professional ranks, competing for three seasons in Dunaujvaros, Hungary and another in Eger, Hungary. Currently, she plays for the New York Athletic Club, having won gold at the US Open of Water Polo in 2012 and 2013 (MVP) and bronze in 2015.
