Kristina Diehl joined the W&J Softball staff in October 2024 and will serve as the pitching coach.
Before coming to W&J, Diehl worked as a pitching instructor. While instructing, Diehl helped to develop and implement individualized pitching workouts for athletes of varying skill levels while focusing on technique enhancement and mental toughness since 2017.
Diehl additionally served as the middle school Assistant Softball Coach at the California Area School District in 2021. This following a three-year stint spent in Brenham, Texas, where she served as a Student Activities Specialist at Blinn College and a Softball Pitching Instructor for The Batter’s Box Inc. from 2018-2021.
For two years beginning in 2016, Diehl served as the Athletics Fall Semester Intern at Marietta College. There she assisted with the coordination and execution of gameday operations, oversaw the production and management of halftime activities, and delegated tasks to student workers and supported event staffing needs.
Diehl has also volunteered her time with Lady Halos Softball, the Boca Raton Bowl, West Virginia University and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Diehl earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management from Marietta College in December of 2017.
