Madison Rotto is set to return to Washington & Jefferson softball in 2015 as the intern assistant coach after playing for the team as a pitcher/catcher from 2010-14.
During her time playing for the Presidents, Rotto earned PAC Softball Second Team All-Conference in 2011. In 2014, she was named PAC Softball First Team All-Conference and helped lead the team to a PAC Championship. That same year she also earned PAC Academic Honor Roll and she was placed on Washington & Jefferson College Dean's List for the second year in a row.Â
Prior to accepting the coaching position at W&J, Rotto was an assistant varsity softball coach and pitching coach for Freeport Senior High School in her hometown of Sarver, Pa.Â
Rotto is currently working to achieve a MS in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with a concentration in Sport Psychology from Cal U and is certified through the National Association of Speed and Explosion as a Level II Speed Specialist.Â
