Dominique Johnson begins his first season as the W&J intern assistant women’s basketball coach in 2018.
Prior to Washington & Jefferson, Johnson spent last year as a coach and skills trainer for the Western Pennsylvania Bruins, an AAU Girls Basketball non-profit organization. With the Bruins, he created workouts for each player and created a database to track all of the athletes’ performances. He also acquired valuable coaching experience as the head coach of SLAAM Basketball’s girl’s AAU team.
In addition to his coaching skills, Johnson also brings a wealth of knowledge in strength and conditioning. He founded Always Work Training in 2012, where he was the head skills trainer. Johnson also spent three years the boy’s varsity strength coach at First Love Christian Academy in Washington, Pa.
