Lisa Fairman enters her first season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Washington & Jefferson women's basketball team in 2017-18.
Fairman comes to W&J after having served the last six seasons as the Belle Vernon High School varsity girl's basketball coach, and one season as the assistant coach for the Thomas Jefferson High School tennis team.
Prior to her stint as the Belle Vernon head coach, Fairman spent two seasons as the assistant coach for the Elizabeth Forward High School girl's basketball team.
She began her coaching career in 1992 as the Junior Varsity/Intermediate Basketball Coach at Thomas Jefferson, before moving up to the varsity staff in 2002 where she spent two seasons.
Fairman received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from California University (Pa.) in 1996 and earned a certification as a Personal Trainer from the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) in 2010.
