Isabel Glace joined W&J as an assistant coach for the women's lacrosse program in August 2021. Since that time W&J has claimed a pair of PAC Championships and earned an automatic berth in the NCAA Championships twice.
W&J won a school record 15 games and claimed victories in a school record 14-straight games during the 2023 season. Three Presidents earned PAC major awards and the coaching staff was honored with the Coach of the Year award. W&J finished with an 11-0 record against PAC competition. W&J appeared in the NCAA Tournament for a fourth time.Â
In her first season on Coach Valerio's staff, Glace helped W&J to its second-straight PAC Tournament Championship in 2022. The Presidents finished with a 12-5 overall record and a 10-0 record against PAC opponents. W&J won nine of its 10 games against conference competition by eight or more goals. W&J made its third-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament.Â
Glace participated in the 2022 NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar (ELS), which is a three-day professional development event provides leadership, educational and transitional programming for current graduate assistants and interns from NCAA member schools, conference offices and affiliate organizations. The three-day virtual program educates, develops and connects selected participants and equips attending young professionals with the skills necessary to accelerate their career progression in college sports.
She competed for the women's lacrosse team at NCAA Division I Wagner College from 2017 through 2021. The Seahawks won the Northeast Conference Championship and earned a trip to the NCAA Championship Tournament in both 2018 and 2019. She was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) at Wagner. Academically, she earned mention on the NEC Spring Honor Roll (2017, 2020, 2021) and the NEC Commissioner's Honor Roll (2021).Â
Additionally, she has worked with Underlying Strength as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor since July 2020. During her time at Wagner, she was a Sports Performance Intern, assisting in evaluation of student-athletes and development of speed and strength training programs.Â
She is a certified personal trainer, a certified nutrition coach, a youth exercise specialist and CPR/AED certified.Â
Glace earned a bachelor of science in Psychology in 2020 before adding a master of science in Media Management in 2021.Â
