Taylor Klevenz

Taylor Klevenz enters her first season as the W&J women's lacrosse intern assistant coach in the fall of 2016.

Klevenz attended Randolph College (Va.) where she lettered four years and was named a team captain in 2013. Klevenz was a three-time selection to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Third Team (2012, 2014-15), two-time recipient of the ODAC Player of the Week Award (2013, 2015), 2015 Team MVP, 2014 Team Attack Player of the Year, four-time ODAC Honorable Mention during the 2014 season, 2013 Coaches Award winner, 2013 ODAC All Academic Award winner, and a recipient of the 2012 Randolph Workhorse Award. Klevenz graduated from Randolph in May 2015 with a B.S. in Sports and Exercise Science.

In addition to playing, Klevenz assisted the Sports Information Director at Randolph all four years at Randolph, aiding in various aspects of game operations including running game clock and scoreboard, spotting stats, broadcasting and filming for highlight reels. Klevenz performed these tasks at men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer and men's lacrosse.

From 2012-2015, Klevenz worked as an assistant coach for the JAB Girl's Lacrosse Club. Klevenz assisted in running clinics and practices for girls in first grade to seniors in high school. In addition, she assisted in running drills and one-on-one sessions with players to teach them the basics of lacrosse as well as advancing the skills of more experienced players. Klevenz was able to get some experience as a referee while there. 

During the summer of 2014, Klevenz worked as an assistant coach at Ultimate Lacrosse where she got experience running summer tournaments while also assisting in practice planning and working with girls aged 11-12.

Klevenz has also worked at South Jersey Selects in Moorestown, N.J. as a head coach. She coached players ages 16-17 and organized practice and game plans and also worked with parents and other coaches.
