Washington & Jefferson College announced the addition of Robert Harrington as a new addition to the staff as an assistant coach of the men’s and women’s swimming & diving programs in August 2025.
Harrington comes to W&J after spending four years swimming at Saint Vincent. While competing for the Bearcats, he was named an honorable mention on the All-PAC team during the 2021-22 season.
In addition to competing, Harrington served as a swimming director and coach for the South Hills Country Club in California. He worked to create a healthy competitive environment for swimmers. This included leading the hiring process for any new coaches and lifeguards.
Harrington received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Saint Vincent.
