Mike Hildreth

Mike Hildreth just completed his fourth season with the team as an assistant in 2019-20.

During the 2018-19 season, Hildreth worked extensively with senior Jarrod Webb, who qualified for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the Shot Put. Webb combined to capture four PAC titles during 2019 and was named Field MVP at the PAC Indoor Championships. On the women's side, Krista Sudar was named Co-Field MVP at the PAC Indoor Championships in February. 

Hildreth completed his academic and athletic careers at Washington & Jefferson College, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts in History and a Pennsylvania Department of Education certification in Social Studies 7-12.

As a three-year member and three-year letterman of the Track & Field program at W&J, Hildreth threw shot put, discus, weight, and hammer. Along with being named to the Presidents' Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll his senior year, he was named team captain. 

Upon graduation, Michael was hired as a high school Social Studies at Bentworth High School in Bentleyville, PA, and has completed a Master’s of Education in Special Education 7-12 from Slippery Rock University.

At Bentworth High School, Michael coached high school football for a year, coaching defensive line and running backs. Along with football, Michael coached track & field for three seasons before returning to W&J. He also served as the strength & conditioning coordinator for the Bearcats. Currently, he coaches middle school football at Peters Township.
