Delaney Baker enters her first season as the Intern Assistant Coach for the W&J Women's Volleyball program in 2025-26.
Baker comes to W&J after working as a coach for Carolina Juniors Volleyball. There she taught players key fundamentals of the game, provided instruction during practice, game and match settings and set up practice plans and game schedules. Baker also coached various skills clinics players ages 10-17 during this time.Â
Baker recently earned her bachelor degree in sports, exercise and performance psychology with a minor in sports coaching from West Virginia University. She is currently continuing her school work at WVU, working towards a master's degree in sports management.
A native of Concord, N.C., Baker graduated from West Cabarras High School in 2023.
