Emily Taylor

Emily Taylor enters her third year as the Intern Assistant Coach for the Washington & Jefferson Volleyball program in 2019.

During Taylor's first two years with the program, the Presidents have compiled a 32-21 overall record, including a 25-9 conference mark. W&J has qualified for the PAC Tournament in each of those two seasons. 

Taylor graduated from Penn State University-Greater Allegheny Campus in May, 2017, with a Bachelor's of Arts in Corporate Communications and a Certificate in Sports Administration with a 3.81 grade-point average. 

While in school, Taylor competed on the volleyball team for three years and played softball during her freshman year. Taylor was named the volleyball team captain in 2015 and 2016. She was named to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) All-Academic Team in the spring of 2015 and the fall of 2015 and 2016 while also earning spots on the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) All-Academic Team in the same semesters. 

Taylor served as a Resident's Assistant during the 2016-17 academic year, utilizing communication and confrontation management training to enforce school policies in addition to working with other RA's to organize and plan community involvement events once a month.

The Aliquippa, Pa., native also lent a hand as an Athletics Student Worker where she served as an event attendant, assisting in the setup and tear down of athletic events, as well as taking action photos for the athletic department which were used on the athletics website.
