Shannon Conley enters her fourth year aiding the W&J Sports Information Office as a Student Sports Information Assistant in 2026-27.
Conley has been a standout on and off the court as a student-athlete on the women's basketball team and a student-worker for W&J sports information. Conley has multiple roles in the SID office including graphic design, performing live stats for multiple sports and working various gameday duties. Conley has also asserted herself as a leader amongst her peers in the SID office, guiding new student-workers on gamedays and in the office. She is also responsible for the recruitment of a multitude of student-workers currently on the staff.
Conley took on the opportunity to learn Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom in 2025. She highlighted this past winter with updated gameday graphics for the 2025-26 women's basketball season, promoted on all social media outlets (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter). She also became the sports information office's primary statistician for W&J women's volleyball in 2024, helping lead the gameday operations for all home matches.
Following her junior year, Conley was selected to attend the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) NCAA Division III Student Program. The Division III CSC Student Program is a chance for student-athletes to explore a career in Division III athletics communication. Held each June in conjunction with the College Sports Communicators Convention, this Division III–focused program offered a fully funded opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build a professional network and take the next step toward a future in sports information.
