Josh Staniscia had seven hits in 11 at-bats this weekend as W&J swept the season series from second-place Thomas More.

Staniscia's first-inning double on Saturday marked the 222nd hit of his career which made him the Washington & Jefferson college baseball career leader. He tacked on two more base hits to finish the weekend with 224 for his standout career.

The senior center fielder is batting .381 this spring with 28 runs batted in and eight stolen bases.
