WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 (25-8, 25-9, 25-7) win against Chatham at Henry Memorial Gymnasium.
The win puts the Presidents at 12-8 on the season and 6-7 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference. The Cougars remain winless at 0-20, 0-11.
Sarah Dindak paced the attack with nine kills. The trio of
Lindsey Bennett,
Nicole Bishwaty and
Taylor Freeman each posted six kills and a .400 or better hitting percentage.
Megan Stoehr recorded 18 assists and four service aces, while
Madison Heil chipped in 10 helpers.
McKenzie Merenick tied Stoehr for the team high with four aces and
Emily Toy contributed three.
Katheryn Rotthoff has a match-high 19 digs.
Allison Means and
Nicole Benvenuto were next with six apiece. Bennett recorded four of the teams six blocks (two solo).
