GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Katherine Kouzelos scored a hat trick for Grove City as it topped the Washington & Jefferson women's soccer team, 3-0.
The loss drops the Presidents to 7-6-1 on the season and 3-2 in the PAC while the Wolverines improve to 6-8-1 on the year and 5-0 in league play.
Kouzelos' goals came in the 30th, 37th and 86th minutes as the hosts built a 2-0 lead at halftime.
Grove City out-shot W&J, 26-14, with
Hayley Skovira pacing the Presidents with five shots.
Josie Madden added three shots and
Tatiana Ruzzini and
Jess Skovira each posted two shots.
Morgan Kinyon made nine saves in goal in the loss.
W&J hosts No. 10 Thomas More at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at Alexandre Stadium.
