No. 10 Thomas More downs W&J, 3-0

WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Presidents fell to No. 10 Thomas More by a 3-0 score at Alexandre Stadium in a conference match-up.

The Washington & Jefferson women's soccer team drops to 7-7-1 on the season with a 3-3 mark in the Presidents' Athletic Conference. The Saints improve to 15-1 overall and 6-0 in the PAC.

The guests found the back of the net once in the first half when All-American Olivia Huber, the nation's second-leading scorer, found the back of the net for the 28th time this season at the 23:00 mark.

It took until early in the 59th minute for the Saints to score again, this time on a penalty kick. TMC added another goal in the 87th minute off a rebound following a direct kick off the crossbar.

Behind a 15-0 advantage in the second half, Thomas More led 18-1 on shots and attempted 10 corner kicks to W&J's one.

Morgan Kinyon made seven saves in the match.

W&J travels to Waynesburg on Saturday, Oct. 25 for a 1 p.m. match against the Yellow Jackets that serves as the PAC road finale for 2014 and a crucial contest for PAC playoff hopes.
