PITTSBURGH -- The Washington & Jefferson volleyball team won its 10th match of the season with a 3-0 sweep at Chatham.
The Presidents move to 10-4 on the season and 4-3 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference. The Cougars fall to 0-17.
W&J had little issue on the night, winning by scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-15 to sweep the contest.
Nicole Bishwaty led the way with eight kills and a staggering .583 hitting percentage.
Taylor Freeman and
Sarah Stedina each posted six kills in the win.
Megan Stoehr led the way with 16 assists while
Lindsey Bennett and
Katheryn Rotthoff recorded two service aces apiece.
Rotthoff's 11 digs led the defense while
Emily Toy added 10. Bennett recorded six blocks in the match, including five solo.
W&J returns to the court on Tuesday, Oct. 7 with a 7 p.m. match at Waynesburg. The Presidents down the Yellow Jackets 3-0 at Henry Memorial Gymnasium on Tuesday, Sept. 30.
