WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson men's soccer team suffered a 6-0 loss to Thomas More in Presidents' Athletic Conference action.
The loss drops the Presidents to 5-10 on the season and just 1-4 in the PAC. The Saints improve to 12-2-1 overall and 4-0-1 in PAC play.
Thomas More scored two goals in the first half, including a penalty kick in the 22nd minute to take a 2-0 lead through 45 minutes. The guests added four goals in the second half, including a pair 31 seconds apart to post the 6-0 win.
TMC led 23-6 in shots.
Brian Hanna was the lone President to record multiple shots with two.
Jon Best suffered the loss after allowing five goals and making four saves in 60:32.
Ben Wilt made three saves in the final 29:28.
W&J travels to Waynesburg on Friday, Oct. 24 for the 2014 PAC road finale.
