NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-23) decision at Westminster in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match.
The Presidents drop to 13-10 on the season and 7-9 in the league. Westminster improves to 15-13 overall and 8-7 in PAC contests.
Taylor Freeman led W&J with nine kills and
Lauren Frazetta collected five kills.
Megan Stoehr had 17 assists and two services aces, while classmate
Sarah Stedina had a match-high three aces.
Nicole Bishwaty and
Allison Means registered 16 and 15 digs, respectively.
Lindsey Bennett totaled three blocks.
W&J has its last match of the season at Henry Memorial Gymnasium on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. for a Senior Night match-up with Geneva.
