NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson men's soccer team opened Presidents' Athletic Conference play with a 1-0 loss at Westminster.
With the defeat, the Presidents fall to 4-6 on the season and 0-1 in the league. The Titans improve to 5-6-1 overall and 1-0 in the PAC.

The goal would stand up for the final 62:07 as the Presidents were unable to find the back of the net behind Westminster keeper Tyler Little, despite at 12-8 shot advantage.
Jason Menni led W&J with four shots, while
James Calvert added three and
Connor McKenzie tacked on two. The Presidents held a 7-1 lead on shots in the second half.
Best made three saves in the loss and allowed just the one goal in 90 minutes.
W&J continues road action in the PAC with a 4 p.m. match at Saint Vincent on Wednesday, Oct. 8.
