BEAVER FALLS, Pa. -- Thanks to a 3-0 lead after 45 minutes, the Presidents earned a 5-0 league victory at Geneva.

With the win, the Washington & Jefferson women's soccer team moves to 9-1-1 on the season and 3-0-0 in Presidents' Athletic Conference action. Geneva slides to 4-6-0 and 0-3-0 in the conference.

The game winner came in the 19th minute when Nicole Walters found the back of the net after a corner kick with the assist credited to Josie Madden. Exactly four minutes later at 22:41, Hayley Skovira converted on a penalty kick to put W&J ahead, 2-0. Tatiana Ruzzini scored an unassisted goal in the 42nd minute to put the Presidents up, 3-0, at intermission.

Jordan Toohey, the PAC's leading scorer, played a role in both second-half goals, scoring unassisted in the 51st minute before adding an assist on Lauren Virgin's goal in the 77th minute which placed W&J ahead by the eventual final margin of 5-0.

Toohey and Ruzzini each had five shots to pace a Presidents' attack that held a 21-11 advantage on the evening.
