BEAVER FALLS, Pa. -- Washington & Jefferson ran its winning streak to eight sets and three matches with a 3-0 sweep of Chatham and first-set win against Geneva, before eventually dropping the night cap to the host Golden Tornadoes, 3-1, in a Presidents' Athletic Conference tri-match.

W&J gave second-place Geneva all it could handle in the second match of the evening, rallying multiple times, including the final three points of the set, to score a 26-24 win in the opener. Freeman and Lydic knotted the match at 24-24 with a block and then Freeman gave the Presidents the advantage with a kill off of Bishwaty's pass before Means closed it out with a service ace to hand the Golden Tornadoes just their fifth set loss in the conference this season and eighth total.

From there, Geneva responded with three set victories to close out the eventual 3-1 win: 25-19, 25-20, 25-12.

Bishwaty posted 13 kills and 10 assists against the GTs for her 11th double-double of the season. Emily Toy handed out a team-best 18 assists.
