CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – In the final match of the season before Washington & Jefferson returns home for the Presidents' Athletic Conference semifinals, Thomas More took the 3-0 win, giving W&J its first conference loss of the season.

The Saints were on the attack early, leading 5-1 on shots in the first period. Two of those shots were able to find the back of the net, giving Thomas More a 2-0 lead at the half.

The Presidents managed to get a few more shots off during the second period, but Thomas More was still ahead at 4-2. At 61:10, Thomas More's Abby Stadtmiller was able to score a third goal for the Saints. W&J was not able to respond, ending the match at 3-0.

Nicole Walters and
Hayley Skovira contributed offensively with one shot each, both landing on-target.
Josie Madden also notched a shot.

Allison Rinehimer was in the cage for the full 90 minutes and made six saves for the Presidents, ending her regular season with a 10-2-1 record.

W&J heads in to postseason play with an overall record of 14-2-1 and a PAC record of 8-1-0.

The second-seeded Presidents will take on third seed Grove City at Alexandre Stadium in the PAC semifinals on Nov. 3 at 7:00 pm.Â
