WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Washington & Jefferson dropped an 81-59 nonconference men's basketball duel with Juniata at the Henry Memorial Center.
The loss drops the Presidents to 0-4 on the season, while the win improves the Eagles to 4-0 heading into Thanksgiving.
Rookie
Joe Satira scored in double figures for the second-straight game, pouring in a game-high 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting. He also pulled in four rebounds in 30 minutes.
Christian Rohaus added 14 points, 11 of which came in the first half. The junior also grabbed a team-best six boards on the evening.
Playing against his former teammates, sophomore
Brian Graytok tallied 10 points, a game-high five assists and tied for the game best with four steals. Sophomore
Kodie Hanley, the game's leader with four blocks, was also in double figures, contributing 10 points to go along with his four rebounds. Through four games, the sophomore has 11 blocks to lead the Presidents on the year.
Three players reached double digits for Juniata, led by Kyle Koehler's 16 points.
W&J returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 28, playing its first road game of the season, a 3:00 p.m. contest in New Concord, Ohio at Muskingum.
