By Danielle Kochka, Sports Information AssistantThe Washington and Jefferson men's basketball team fell to Grove City College 63-41 in their first Presidents' Athletic Conference matchup of the season.
The Presidents were down 11 points at the half, with the score at 27-16. At several points during the second half, W&J managed to get within seven points of Grove City, but the Wolverines' offense managed to keep them at bay.
Junior guard
Christian Rohaus played a game-high 39 minutes, also leading all players in scoring with 14 points. This included shooting 3-5 from beyond the three-point arc. Sophomore
Brian Graytok added 11 points, and also pulled down a team-high six rebounds. Freshman
Gianni Buarne also contributed to the effort with eight points of his own.
W&J now falls to 0-6 on the season and 0-1 in the PAC. The Presidents host the Chatham Cougars this Saturday, December 2nd at 3 P.M. at the Henry Memorial Center for more PAC action.
