CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. -- The Thomas More defense forced Washington & Jefferson into 29 turnovers as the Presidents fell, 91-70, on the road in Presidents' Athletic Conference action.
The loss drops W&J to 17-6 overall and 11-5 in the PAC. TMC, the No. 1 team in the country, remains undefeated at 23-0, 16-0 in the PAC.
Four Presidents scored in double figures, led by
Beka Bellhy's 16 points, including 10-of-10 at the free throw line.
Taylor Cortazzo and
Valerie Dunlap each added 14 points, with Dunlap pulling down 10 rebounds as well.
Amirah Moore also added 11 points off the bench.
In the contest, which featured 51 fouls and 57 free throws, W&J converted 90.6 percent (29-of-32) of it's opportunities at the charity stripe.
Reigning PAC and national Player of the Year Sydney Moss scored 43 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead the Saints.
W&J opens the final week of the regular season on Wednesday, Feb. 18 with a 6 p.m. tip-off at Westminster.
