WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The 2014-15 regular season came to a close as the Presidents suffered a 73-50 setback to Bethany at the Henry Memorial Center.

With the loss, the Washington & Jefferson men's basketball team heads into next week's Presidents' Athletic Conference tournament, where it will travel to Westminster on Monday, Feb. 23 at a time to be announced, however, it will likely be a 7 p.m. tip-off. The winner of Monday's game will travel to top-seeded Saint Vincent on Tuesday, Feb. 24.

Doug Johnson led the Presidents on Senior Day with 18 points behind four three-pointers. The senior tandem of Mitch Locher (nine points) and Mike Resnik (seven) combined for 16 points and 11 rebounds.

W&J trailed by 21, 41-20, at halftime, but cut the margin to eight, 44-36, after 8:51 of the first half while holding the Bison to just three points during a 16-3 run to open the frame.
