Ashley Bulger scored three goals in each half and Washington & Jefferson rolled to an 14-7 women's lacrosse victory over Franciscan on Monday evening at Alexandre Stadium. Â The game was stopped by the officials with 12 minutes left due to snow on the field and the whiteout conditions. Â
The Presidents (3-2) had five different goal scorers led by Bulger, who also added a pair of assists. Â
Diana Harvey added three goals and three assists for W&J. Â
Kelsey Roetenberg stopped 10 shots in goal during the first half as the Presidents built an 8-2 lead after 30 minutes. Â
Alex Dikos netted the first goal of the game for W&J which set off a 7-0 run to begin the match. Â She finished with two goals, while
Caroline Kallos dished out four assists to go along with one goal. Â
Savannah Ruhe stopped five shots in the loss for the Barons (1-3), who outshot W&J 25-22. Â
