Presidents claim third victory of season in the snow at Alexandre Stadium

WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Ashley Bulger scored three goals in each half and Washington & Jefferson rolled to an 14-7 women's lacrosse victory over Franciscan on Monday evening at Alexandre Stadium.  The game was stopped by the officials with 12 minutes left due to snow on the field and the whiteout conditions.

The Presidents (3-2) had five different goal scorers led by Bulger, who also added a pair of assists.  Diana Harvey added three goals and three assists for W&J.  Kelsey Roetenberg stopped 10 shots in goal during the first half as the Presidents built an 8-2 lead after 30 minutes.

Alex Dikos netted the first goal of the game for W&J which set off a 7-0 run to begin the match.  She finished with two goals, while Caroline Kallos dished out four assists to go along with one goal.

Savannah Ruhe stopped five shots in the loss for the Barons (1-3), who outshot W&J 25-22.
