WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Washington & Jefferson's Field Hockey's first Empire 8 game of the season resulted in a loss of 4-0 against Ithaca at Cameron Stadium.

Although the first half of the game ended in an even 0-0, the Bombers were able to pull ahead during the second.

Ithaca's Colleen Keegan-Twombly tallied two of their four goals, while Washington & Jefferson's
Morgan Brozena was able to make eight saves out of the 12 shots on goal.

Amanda Steffey attempted to get the Presidents on the board with four shots, but was unable to sneak one past Ithaca's goalie.

W&J falls 0-1 in the conference and is now 2-2 overall.

The Presidents will face Wooster in a nonconference match up on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 7:00 pm in Wooster, Ohio.
