CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. -- Presidents' Athletic Conference action continued for the Washington & Jefferson volleyball team as the Presidents dropped a 3-0 decision at conference foe Thomas More.
The loss, which consisted of set scores of 25-15, 25-21, 25-11, drops W&J to 4-6 on the year and 2-3 in the PAC, while Thomas More improves to 5-3 overall and an unblemished 4-0 in league action.
Taylor Freeman recorded one-fourth of W&J's 16 kills in the match, tallying four, while the freshman tandem of
Abigail Eich and
Madison Lydic each chipped in three.
Emily Toys seven assists were a team-high on offense.
Kathryn Rotthoff led the Presidents with nine digs, with
Sarah Dindak and
Allison Means posting eight apiece. Both Eich and Lydic also posted a pair of blocks.
W&J is idle until Thursday, Sept. 24 when it travels to Pitt-Greensburg for a nonconference tilt, scheduled for 7 p.m.
