GREENSBURG, PA. – In a nonconference matchup at Pitt-Greensburg, the Washington & Jefferson volleyball team won 3-1.
The win, which consisted of set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 16-25, 25-18, boosts W&J to a record of 5-6.
Nicole Bishwaty led the offense with 16 kills and 14 assists, while
Taylor Freeman had 13 kills of her own.
Emily Toy recorded 18 assists to lead W&J in the category.
Allison Means led the Presidents with 23 digs, with
Katheryn Rotthoff posting 12.
Madison Lydic registered three blocks.
A strong support on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball,
Sarah Dindak tallied ten kills as well as digs.
W&J will faceoff against Thiel in a Presidents' Athletic Conference matchup next on Sept. 26 at 11:00 am in Greenville, Pa.
