WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Kenyon dealt Washington & Jefferson a 3-0 defeat in nonconference action at Cameron Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 20.
With the loss, the Presidents fall to 4-3 overall this season, while the Ladies, who are among others receiving votes in the latest National Field Hockey Coaches Association Top 20 poll, improve to 6-1.
Kenyon possessed a 16-4 advantage on shots and 12-4 on penalty corners.
Amanda Steffey paced the Presidents with a pair of shots.
The first goal of the match came 12:51 into play, while Kenyon was able to add two more in the second half to secure the 3-0 win.

Morgan Brozena withstood nine saves in net, while
Alana Boyd and
Shelby Howell each recorded a defensive save.
Nonconference action continues for W&J on Wednesday, Sept. 23 with a 7 p.m. match at Frostburg State.
